The hotel was relaxing, with super-friendly staff. The location was incredible, within a close distance from Cooper Creek Square.

The place was reasonably priced. I truly enjoyed the hotel, everything was perfectly fine here. The location was incredible to everything in south WP and the staff here was pleasant. Had brunch in the Idlewild Spirits Distillery, located nearby. The rooms were cozy and budget with a cot-like bed and Fan, for example.

It was a great location right by a bus stop. The area had plenty of restaurants and local restaurants. Comforts of modest and spacious room with a queen bed were fabulous.

Everything about this hotel is perfectly fine! The room is modest and spacious and includes a fairly clean bathroom.

Honestly nothing to complain about. Cute hotel in a good location within walking distance of the main town area, accommodating personal. Quiet beds and central heating, TV, and a mini refrigerator. Clean private bathroom. Location adjacent to bars and grocery store.

The hotel was cute and the location was great short walk to a brewery and went up there for. The room was cozy, budget with tea, queen bed plus coffee and good value. I liked this property and would recommend it to all.

I recently stayed at The Viking Lodge for 4 nights and had an amazing experience. The owners, Schoot and his wife, were incredibly helpful and respectful, making our stay comfortable. The cozy and character-filled lodge had two outdoor spaces where we could relax, play games, and read. The location was perfect, with restaurants, shops, and the bus stop to the ski resort all within walking distance. The room had a mini fridge and a nook for storing our gear, and it was always warm and inviting after a day on the mountain. I can't wait to come back one day!

loved our stay at the viking lodge! cozy rooms, comfy bed, and amazing shower. the staff was so friendly and we felt really taken care of. great location with restaurants and shops nearby. will definitely be back!

Wifi didn't work.

Excellent location, just 1.5 miles from the Winter Park lifts, immediately next door to a small "mall" with a 1/2 dozen restaurants, and located on the ski bus route. Nothing fancy, but clean and an extremely good value for the money.

As everyone has mentioned, rooms are extremely small. There was less than 6" of space on either side of the queen bed. In order to fit all our luggage and ski equipment, we had to store some in the bathtub. That was known, expected, and tolerable. My biggest complaint was a floor that squeeked like a haunted house no matter where you stepped on it and half the bulbs in the room were burned out. The walls were "thin," but we didn't find it as bad as other travelers mentioned. We could hear when our neighbors came and went, but couldn't hear their conversations. Overall, given the excellent nightly rate, none of these issues were show stoppers

Good value ; accommodating; great location ; shuttle service

I had a wonderful stay at this conveniently located hotel. The room was spacious and had all the necessary amenities like a hair dryer and wifi. The shuttle bus to the ski resort stopped right by the lodge, making it extremely convenient for skiing. The nearby shops and restaurants were a bonus. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and convenient stay.

Excellent location, very friendly staff, not fancy but very comfortable. Rental shop and ski lockers on premises. Reasonable rates and the shuttle to the resort stops right in front.

The group above us was a bit loud but other than that, no complaints, we enjoyed our stay. We'll be back.
